JanzCorp Partners with Mobilize Rescue Systems

The Janz Corporation, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing medical equipment including Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to the federal government and military services since 1999, is partnering with Mobilize Rescue Systems to improve the ability of bystanders without medical training to respond to unexpected emergencies like severe bleeding, cardiac arrest, seizures and more with new technology.

“Smart phones and tablets are becoming an integral part of emergency response today,” said Brian Healey, President of Janz Corporation. “Having the ability to get information at the point of injury, allows both professional responders and lay people to react knowledgeably at an incident.” The Janz Corporation recognizes the importance of responding to emergencies with the Mobilize Rescue System and it’s ‘just-in-time’ diagnostic app that will prompt a bystander to locate and use an AED, in addition to providing trauma resources to help a bystander manage a victim with severe injuries or wounds. As one of the largest distributors of AEDs and pre-hospital equipment to the Federal Government, the Janz Corporation looks forward to helping bystanders and trained responders save lives with the Mobilize Rescue System and AEDs, which pair together perfectly to improve emergency response plans.

Since studies have shown that the effectiveness of CPR/AED training decreases over time (92% of participants failed the hands-on skills exam one year after training), having the Mobilize Rescue App, with its ‘just-in-time’ refresher course, provides a valuable fail-safe for educators working with students with unknown medical problems.
