The Janz Corporation is proud to support the 2018 Military Health System Vendor Day scheduled for Wednesday May 23, 2018 at Fort Detrick, MD. The Military Health System Vendor Day is a cooperative venture by the military service medical logistics agencies. The agencies involved are:
- Defense Health Agency Medical Logistics Division (DHA MEDLOG)
- S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC)
- S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA)
- Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC)
- Air Force Medical Operations Agency (AFMOA)
- S. Marine Corp Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM)
The focus of the May 23 Vendor Day event is to assist the services’ medical logistics agencies with strategic market analysis of products and technologies that may be applicable to the austere medical environments.
MHS supports medical units located on land and ships and in challenging environmental conditions. It should be remembered that products need to be suitable for use in an austere environment with extreme temperature ranges possible.
The Philips Point-of Care Lumify Ultrasound will be available for review as well as the Shift Labs Drip Assist gravity drip infusion counter. Both the Lumify and the Drip Assist are adaptable products that are a great asset to caregivers in austere environments, EMS, pre-hospital and hospital environments for the military, federal government and commercial space.
Janz, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, (SDVOSB), represents medical equipment, supplies and services to the Federal Government and commercial medical care providers. Janz also assists companies with military and EMS product evaluation and Safe-to-Fly and Airworthiness Certification through its Technical Assessment Group (TAG).
